Groo's sister, Grooella, sends for his help with an upcoming attack. While travelling to her castle, he encounters an army and joins up in hopes of opportunities to fight and eat. He reminisces about his childhood with Grooella along the way. Upon arriving at the castle and learning of the situation, Groo suggests taking the offensive instead of waiting for the Cominos to attack and leads the entire army of Perudia out of the castle leaving it defenceless against the Cominos.
